General Hansard Information
Hansard is the official report of the debates and proceedings of the Parliament.
Hansard is not a verbatim report of what is said but, rather, it is an accurate representation of speeches and statements devoid of redundancies, obvious grammatical errors, slips of the tongue and factual errors.
In South Australia, the Daily Hansard is available on the internet after 4pm of the day following the sitting.
Search Functions

Filtered Search: allows searching on members, electorates or portfolios and will filter the data in the Bills, Questions and Answers, Speeches and All Topics searches if a member, electorate or portfolio is selected. This function also will allow searching on the entire House of Assembly, Legislative Council or Estimates Committees data for the session/date range entered if a member, electorate or portfolio is not first selected. The subject headings can be filtered by adding text to the search box above the list of headings.
Date Search: provides a calendar of each year of electronic Hansard. All debates from 1993 until September 2007 are provided as whole documents in both .pdf and .html versions. Debates from October 2007 are presented as whole documents and by proceeding and subject heading, enabling specific parts of each debate to be presented.

Indices and Corrigenda: provides links to the indices of each parliament and a list of the corrigenda made to printed versions of Hansard, as incorporated into the electronic version.
Text Search: provides text/string searching on the entire House of Assembly or Legislative Council data.
