The House met pursuant to adjournment. The Speaker (Hon J J Snelling) took the Chair and read prayers.

The Clerk announced that the following Member had lodged a Petition for presentation:

 

6 The Minister for Transport (Hon P F Conlon), from 7234 residents of South Australia, requesting the House to urge the Government to keep the Marion Outdoor Pool in Hendrie Street, Park Holme open for public use regardless of the development of a new pool at the Domain site.

 

3 Legislative Review Committee - Report First

Mrs Geraghty brought up the 1st Report of the Committee.

Report received.

 

4 Questions

7 Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science (Miscellaneous) Amendment Bill

The Minister for Health (Hon J D Hill), pursuant to notice, moved - That he have leave to introduce a Bill for an Act to amend the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science Act 1982.

Question put and passed.

Bill presented and read a first time.

 

The Minister moved - That this Bill be now read a second time.

Ordered, on motion of Mrs Redmond, that the debate be adjourned until tomorrow.

 

8 Natural Resources Management (Transfer of Water Licences) Amendment Bill

The Minister for the River Murray (Hon K A Maywald), pursuant to notice, moved - That she have leave to introduce a Bill for an Act to amend the Natural Resources Management Act 2004.

The Minister moved - That this Bill be now read a second time.

Ordered, on motion of Dr McFetridge, that the debate be adjourned until tomorrow.
