(a) intervening in the Governmentís decision to close the Parks High School;

(b) visiting the School to see at first hand how it operates; and

(c) entering into meaningful discussions with the School community on options they have developed for the Schoolís future, † and to assist in the retention of this excellent multicultural school for the benefit of the multicultural and Aboriginal population of the Parks area.
