   1.

Council met pursuant to adjournment.  The President (The Hon. R. R. Roberts) took the Chair.

The following Paper was laid upon the Table, viz.:

        By the Minister for Industry and Trade (The Hon. P. Holloway) -

                 Volunteer Ministerial Advisory Group - Report to the Premier and the Minister for Volunteers on Advancing the Community Together: A Partnership between the Volunteers Sector and the South Australian Government - May 2005.

   3.

The Minister for Industry and Trade tabled a copy of a Ministerial Statement made by the Premier (The Hon. M. D. Rann, M.P.) concerning the McCann Report of the Investigation into Certain Matters relating to the Attorney-General and Mr. Randall Ashbourne, together with a copy of the Report and a copy of the Terms of Reference and Conditions of the Special Commission of Inquiry into the matter.

   4.

The Minister for Emergency Services tabled a copy of a Ministerial Statement made by the Minister for Employment, Training and Further Education (The Hon. S. W. Key, M.P.) concerning Carnegie Mellon University and a Determination under Section 5 of the Training and Skills Development Act 2003.

   5.

The Minister for Industry and Trade, without notice, moved - That the Standing Orders be so far suspended as to enable Question Time to be extended to enable the Hon. D. W. Ridgway to complete his question to him and for the Minister to complete his reply.

                 Question put and passed, without a dissentient voice, there being present an absolute majority of the whole number of Members of the Council.
