The Minister for Industry, Trade and Regional Development tabled a copy of a Ministerial Statement made by the Premier (The Hon. M. D. Rann, M.P.) concerning the Report of the Board of Inquiry into the Handling of Claims of Sexual Abuse and Misconduct within the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide, together with the Report.

                 The President resumed the Chair, and reported that the Committee had considered the Message from the House of Assembly and had resolved to disagree to the House of Assembly’s amendment to Council Amendment No. 25 and insist on this Amendment, and to insist on its Amendments Nos. 2, 4 and 5, 9 and 13, 14 to 16, 18 to 21, 23, 26 to 35 and 37 to 42; whereupon the Council adopted such report.
