Monday 26th May 2008 12.30-2.30pm Meeting Cathy Li, Director and Marketing Manager, Anderson Group Ltd. Ms Li is being considered as a potential SABAN ambassador .  She completed her post graduate studies at the University of South Australia.  Her previous position was as Marketing Manager for the family's ceramics business, based in the Guang Dong economic province of China.  This business exports approximately 40% of its product to Beaumont Tiles in Australia.  Ms Li has therefore been a frequent visitor to Australia and South Australia and has an excellent understanding of business workings in Australia. Ms Li has now moved into the packaging business .  Her company is in competition to that owned by Chris Suek and is also located in Guang Dong province .  The difference in the Anderson Group is that it specialises in the production of pallets made from recycled paper and cardboard instead of timber .   Ms Li is extremely proud of this production which is regarded as a leader in `Green' production and recycling in the world. Recycling paper and cardboard is  transported to Shen Zin from all over China. The pallets are widely used throughout the Shen Zin Port and Hong Kong port and are acclaimed to be as strong as timber, but more environmentally friendly . 6.00-7.00pm Meeting with Brenton Wright, SABAN Ambassador and Director of Lizards Drinking, a consultancy company providing advice to a wide range of private companies and government departments both in South Australia and Hong Kong. www.lizarddrinkinf! .com.au Lizard Drinking works with public and private enterprises wishing to transform their performance or seeking to solve significant organisational challenges .  They take a "whole-of-enterprise" view of performance, structure and strategic direction and provide solutions which take into account the prevailing business environment, client aspirations and all  aspects of organisational management . Brenton is a South Australian who has been living  in Hong Kong with his wife for the past 6 months (as his daughter, her husband and grandchild are currently living and working there) .  He was one of the original SABAN Ambassadors appointed by John Olsen and has been a dedicated and active participant in this scheme .  He would like to have more contact with Ambassadors in Hong Kong and offered to support and facilitate communication between the other Ambassadors and potential Ambassadors on behalf of the South Australian Government .  Lizards Drinking is  still active in South Australia and Brenton is  well positioned to provide liaison between South Australia and Hong Kong as his business frequently brings him back to the State .
