The Natural Resources Committee resolved at its meeting on 27 June 2022 to conduct an inquiry into biological charcoal (biochar).

The Statutory Authorities Review Committee has resolved to inquire into and report on the Stormwater Management Authority, with particular reference to:
the functions of the Stormwater Management Authority pursuant to Schedule 1A of the Local Government Act 1999 (SA);
the effectiveness of the Stormwater Management Authority in carrying out its functions, including the application of the Stormwater Management Fund; and
any other matters relevant to the operations of the Stormwater Management Authority.

How bows and crossbows are managed in the community;
Current arrangements for bow and crossbow hunting in South Australia;
The responsibility and involvement of SAPOL;
How bow hunting is managed with regard to the Animal Welfare Act 1985 and its associated regulations; the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972; the National Parks and Wildlife (Hunting) Regulations 2011; and the SA Firearms Act 2015;
A comparison with other states and how they manage this issue;
Consideration of the adequacy of current licencing and/or compliance arrangements;
Any other matter relevant to the inquiry
