How to make a submission -

The Environment, Resources and Development Committee is calling for submissions to its inquiry into the National Trust of South Australia.
The Committee will inquire into and report on:
(a) the governance and organisational structure of the National Trust of South Australia;
(b) the operation, effectiveness and contemporary relevance of the National Trust of South Australia Act 1955;
(c) whether the legislative and governance framework established under the Act remains fit for purpose in supporting heritage preservation and community participation in South Australia;
(d) the management and preservation of heritage assets under the care or control of the National Trust;
(e) the role of volunteers and community stakeholders in the operation and decision making processes of the National Trust;
(f) the impact of organisational and governance issues on regional communities, local history and tourism; and
(g) any other related matters.
Any person or organisation wishing to make a submission to the Committee, or register an interest in presenting oral evidence to the Committee, is invited to do so by 5pm Tuesday, 28 July 2026.
