Rallies or Demonstrations

Rallies or demonstrations on the steps of Parliament House are permitted but it is important that the organisers seek approval of the Presiding Officers. This is in the interests of members of the public attending the Parliament or using the adjacent footpath and roadway and of those participating in the rally or demonstration.

To obtain approval, organisers should review the Conditions of Use and forward details to:

Telephone inquiries may be directed to the Office of the Serjeant-At-Arms, House of Assembly, (08) 8237 9467.

Acknowledgement of Country

The Parliament of South Australia acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners of this country throughout Australia, and their connection to land and community. We pay our respect to them and their cultures and to the Elders both past and present.
