The Legislative Review Committee has released an updated Information Guide which sets out how the Committee carries out its functions. The update includes:
- Two additional scrutiny principles at paragraphs 2.3(k) and (l); and
- A checklist to assist departments, agencies, councils and courts in preparing reports to the Committee that accompany legislative instruments at Appendix B.
