As at March 2002, Diana was South Australia’s longest serving Arts Minister and among Australia’s longest serving Transport Ministers.
Between December 1993 to March 2002 – Diana was the only Minister to serve continuously in all the portfolios to which she was first appointed – with the addition of Urban Planning in 1997.
Overall, Diana’s 20 plus years of Parliamentary service has included 16 years as a Minister and a Shadow Minister (8 years in each instance).
