Committee Function

To inquire into and report on the Local Government (Lochiel Park Lands) Amendment Bill 2005.

The purpose of the Bill is to protect the open space at Lochiel Park (to be known as the Lochiel Park Lands), and to develop only the land formerly occupied by the TAFE College and MFS Training Centre. The Bill will amend the Local Government Act 1999, and make a related amendment to the Development Plan under the Development Act 1993.
