Committee Function

All Petitions and Papers laid on the Table of the Council which are not already printed by the Government Printer, or the printing of which is not thereupon moved by a Minister of the Crown, shall stand referred to the Printing Committee, and it shall be the duty of such Committee to report from time to time which of the Petitions and Papers referred to them ought, in their opinion, to be printed, and whether in full or in abstract; and it shall be in the power of the Committee to order such Petitions or Papers, or abstracts thereof, to be prepared for press by the Clerk in attendance upon such Committees.
