Functions of the Committee
Pursuant to Section 9 of the Act the terms of reference for the Committee are:
(a) to inquire into, consider and report on such matters as are referred to it
under this Act:

how the quality of the environment might be
protected or improved;
(ii) any matter concerned with the resources of the
State or how they might be better conserved or
utilised;
(iii) any matter concerned with planning, land use or
transportation;
(iv) any matter concerned with the general
development of the State.
