participating general practices and aligns with recommendations in the Therapeutic Guidelines
(TG) which are consensus clinical guidelines for health practitioners.15 The protocol under the
UTIPP-Q is consistent with the TG.

Under the TG Act, the Secretary to the
Department of Health and Aged Care may authorise a person to supply therapeu�c goods
that are not registered goods for use in the treatment of another person, subject to such
