The site topography of is quite significant, falling from the south-east corner down to the north-west corner.

Ensure the former Marineland site is developed to its fullest tourist potential.

The aim of the project is to improve the educational accommodation for the site and avoid the escalation and ongoing cost of maintaining aged buildings.

In addition, a site history review was undertaken by URS in 2007 for the VPS expansion to determine whether there were any significant site contamination issues within the proposed construction areas.
