The State is seeking proposals from interested parties to deliver projects and
developments which commence on site within a period of 5 years and complement
and strategically align with existing and new land uses in the precinct, and do not
restrict future development activities which may reasonably be required to support the
logical expansion of existing uses.

Resources Committee and the South Eastern Drainage and Conservation
Board In addition it met with representatives of CSR and Forwood Products
and inspected their respective plants, and visited a dairy farm that had
received a Cleaner Industries Demonstration Scheme grant The visit to Port
Pine and Whyalla included meetings with representatives of Pasminco, BHP,
the Cities of Port Pine and Whyalla and the Port Pine Lead Steering
Committee
Met with bodies with overlapping spheres of interest, eg the Local
Government Association, the Conservation Council of South Australia and
the South Australian Employers' Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Visited sites which are the subject of licence applications, eg the East Waste
waste depot, the proposed Enviroguard waste depot at Highbury, the
Adelaide City Council's waste depot at Wingfield, the disused iron pyrites
mine at Brukunga, the Christies Beach Waste Water Treatment Plant and the
Penrice Soda Products site
