The Environment Resources and Development Committee has received and published the Minister for Environment and Water’s response to the Committee’s 11 recommendations. The Committee is pleased to report that the Minister has supported all of the recommendations of the Committee including a commitment from the state government to retain the Coast Protection Board and to undertake a review of the Coast Protection Act 1972 in line with the Committee’s suggestions for reform.
