On 17 February 2021, the Legislative Review Committee adopted and published sample reports to assist executive agencies that prepare reports to the Committee about Fees Notices.

Each year, Ministerial Fees Notices are made to increase fees under approximately 120 different Acts of the Parliament. The Committee receives a report from executive agencies in relation to each Fees Notice.

In order to support executive agencies with their reporting, the Legislative Review Committee has prepared three different sample reports:

  • Sample report 1: All fee increases apply the approved indexation rate.
  • Sample report 2: Some fees have been increased above the approved indexation rate.
  • Sample report 3: All fees have been increased above the approved indexation rate.

The sample reports are available to download from the Committee’s document system at: https://www.parliament.sa.gov.au/Committees/lrc

The Committee welcomes feedback from executive agencies about whether the sample reports are useful.
